I note that there is another blog with a virtually identical name aimed principally at the Masons in the U.P.  The last post to that site seems to have been in 2010.  I hope I haven't stepped on any toes.

I want to talk briefly about some sites on the internet that I have found interesting.

Bill Vaillancourt has created a blog for Bellaire Lodge #398.

There is a site called "Who Are the Freemasons" with a lot of interesting and useful information and several educational lectures.

"Milleniumfreemason.com" is also good reading although it is predominantly written for Minnesota Masons.

"Thewindingstairs.com" presents a lot of books and artwork for sale.  However, by sure to click on the "blog" button and see links to a lot of podcasts about the lessons of Freemasonry.

I hope this site will, over time, prove useful to Freemasons through out northern Michigan.  I plan to call attention to it from the Lodges that lie within the Districts that compose the Valley of Traverse City although it is not a Scottish Rite site specifically.

All of the appendant bodies of Freemasonry are welcome and free to post events, ideas, problems, solutions that seemed to work, opinions, what have you.

It may be that it will also attract the attention of people who have negative opinions about Freemasonry but, fair warning, I probably will ignore posts from people who have never been a member of Freemasonry or its appendant bodies.
